Welcome to the Genero Application Server 2.32.42.
For details about the Genero Application Server 2.32.42 content, please refer to the release notes.
Default FGL and GWS demos
You can access to the demo programs bundled with FGL and GWS packages:
GWC for AJAX Customization tutorial
The following links show the four customization steps explained in our GWC for AJAX customization tutorial. You can find the GWC for AJAX tutorial in the Genero Application Server manual.
  • Run the application without customization;
  • Run the first customization step;
  • Run the second customization step;
  • Run the third customization step;
  • Run the fourth customization step.
GWC for Silverlight Customization tutorial
The following links illustrate the ability to customize GWC for Silverlight. The same Genero application used for the GWC for AJAX Customization tutorial (above) is used. You can find the GWC for Silverlight tutorial in the Genero Application Server manual.
  • Run the application without customization;
  • Run the first customization step;
  • Run the second customization step;
  • Run the third customization step;
  • Run the fourth customization step, using a Ribbon to replace the toolbar, the topmenu and the action panel.
    Note:
    The Ribbon customization is an illustration of a GWC for Silverlight capability. Our current customization fills the ribbon with the content of the action panel, the toolbars and the top menus. By modifying the Ribbon.xaml snippets, you are free to implement your own set of rules.
    For this demo, we use the Silverlight SandRibbon Component from Divelements (see http://www.divelements.co.uk/net/controls/sandribbonsl/) which is NOT delivered, licensed and supported by our company. You need to download the component and integrate it following the steps mentioned in the GAS documentation topic "GWC for Silverlight customization tutorial",  Step 4.
Web Component examples
These demos use several third-party components which are NOT delivered, licensed or supported. They are just bundled for the purpose of demonstrating the capabilities of the Genero WebComponent. Before using a demo code snippet for your own development, take care that you fulfill the corresponding licenses from all third-party components.
GWC for iPhone
The following links are two applications that were designed to run on the iPhone. If you run them in your favorite desktop browser, they will use the GWC for AJAX. If you run them from an iPhone, they will use a dedicated GWC for iPhone mode that will make them look as native iPhone apps. For more integration, once the Genero application is launched on your iPhone, you can add a shortcut to the iPhone screen. You can then launch the application from the icon on the iPhone screen.
  • Run the To Do list manager;
  • Run the ExpenseReport application.
